Invest in the 6-axle PL2 semi low loader
Riedel Transport- und Montage-Service GmbH has recently strengthened its fleet. Led by company directors Nils and Dirk Anbergen, (great-nephews of the founder), the company has invested in a 6-axle pendular axle semi low loader that not only highlights the company's flexibility and versatility, but also seamlessly meets the requirements of modern heavy transport.

Riedel Transport- und Montage-Service GmbH started out as a company specialising in the transport of coal, but has emerged as a thriving company in the field of professional and heavy transport. As part of the Riedel Group, they now provide a wide range of services, including heavy transport, crane work and assembly. After careful analysis of business requirements and customer needs, incorporating factors such as large transport volumes, tight construction sites, permits and costs, the decision was made to invest in a new semi low loader.
The purchased 6-axle semi low loader with pendular axles, hydraulic ramps and crane arm recess proved to be the perfect choice for the company. With its robust construction and ability to transport heavy loads of more than 70 tonnes, the semi low loader is optimally tailored to the requirements. A special feature of the semi low loader is that it can transport weights of up to 65 tonnes within the 100-tonne limit, which avoids a lot of permit work. Transporting a McCloskey crusher once again confirmed the choice of this trailer. Weighing about 40 tonnes, the crusher is relatively light, but with its dimensions of 20 metres in length, 3 metres in width and 3.5 metres in height, it places high demands on the trailer's stability and manoeuvrability. Dennis Rosenberger, who usually drives the trailer, not only praises its ease of operation, but is also impressed by the manoeuvrability it brings. "I am surprised at how easy this trailer is to operate, and my colleagues say the same thing once they have it behind their truck."
Purchasing the trailer in October 2022 and using it immediately demonstrated its added value. Riedel Transport is pleased with their investment in the semi low loader, which represents an important milestone in the company's growth and highlights its continued focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. The two brothers are convinced that this trailer will further strengthen the Hamburg-based company's position.
A thorough training for all Riedel Group drivers under the guidance of Sascha Merhof (Director Broshuis Germany) ensured that even those who were not present at the delivery could work safely and competently with the trailer, which completed Broshuis' service and the total package!
