Let’s do something wonderful together
In 2025, we are joining forces with our staff, customers, and suppliers to support the LINDA.foundation. This initiative by Linda de Mol is dedicated to helping families in the Netherlands who are struggling financially. What makes the LINDA.foundation unique is that 100% of the donations go directly to the families, as the operational costs are covered by Linda de Mol and the publishing house Mood for Magazines.
At Broshuis, we are committed to supporting the LINDA.foundation in various ways. This includes our Event, as well as at several trade shows and festivals. Throughout the year, we will also be selling merchandise, with all proceeds going to the LINDA.foundation. During the Event, we will be celebrating our 140th anniversary, and to mark this occasion, we kindly request a donation to the LINDA.foundation as a gift suggestion. We also encourage our colleagues to come up with their own initiatives, so everyone can contribute in their own way. We invite customers and suppliers to join us in making a difference. Support this important cause and help vulnerable families in the Netherlands!
Why the LINDA.foundation?
Children living in poverty cannot grow up carefree: financial hardship causes stress for the entire family. Joining a (sports) club or celebrating a birthday can already be a challenge. These worries and stress can impact their whole lives, which are often marked by poverty from a young age.
The LINDA.foundation is dedicated to supporting families with children aged between 4 and 18 who are in financial distress and live across the Netherlands, including in Kampen. Since its establishment in 2013, the foundation has worked to alleviate some of the suffering caused by poverty by providing gift card packages, containing vouchers from Albert Heijn, Hema, H&M, Intertoys, McDonald's, and the National Cinema Voucher, allowing families to purchase products themselves.
Over the past ten years, the LINDA.foundation has distributed 43,250 packages with a total retail value of over 25 million euros. In 2024, they aim to reach another 7,500 families, bringing support to their 50,000th family.
