In 2025, we’ll be celebrating our 140th anniversary and we want to do so in a meaningful way. Together with our employees, customers, and suppliers, we will unite to make a difference for financially vulnerable families. We’re doing this by supporting the LINDA.foundation with a clear and ambitious goal: raising € 100,000.
Why the LINDA.foundation?
In the Netherlands, 1 in 9 children lives in poverty. These children are unable to grow up carefree. Financial stress within the family creates tough choices: joining a (sports) club, celebrating a birthday, or simply enjoying life’s little moments is often out of reach. This has a huge impact, not just now, but also on these children’s futures.
Since 2013, the LINDA.foundation has been committed to helping families with children aged 4 to 18 who are in financial difficulty. By providing gift cards from stores like Albert Heijn, HEMA, H&M, Intertoys, McDonald’s and the National Cinema Gift Card, families are given the chance to buy what they need most. This means children can still receive that special gift, a new jacket or enjoy a family outing. These moments make all the difference.
What makes the LINDA.foundation so unique? 100% of all donations go directly to the families. Linda de Mol personally covers all the foundation’s operational costs, ensuring your donation has a real impact.
How we support the cause
At Broshuis, we’re supporting the LINDA.foundation in various ways. Throughout the year, we sell Broshuis merchandise, with all proceeds going to the LINDA.foundation. During our major Broshuis Event, as well as at various exhibitons and festivals, we’ll be collecting donations.
Additionally, we encourage our colleagues to come up with their own initiatives, such as a sponsored run, a yard sale, or a bake-off. Everyone can contribute in their own way.
How you can help
During the Broshuis Event, we’ll celebrate our 140th anniversary and invite our customers and suppliers to join us in making a difference. Instead of gifts, we kindly ask our guests to make a donation to the LINDA.foundation, let’s turn our gift into theirs! Additionally, we’ll offer the option to donate on order confirmations. If you choose to contribute, we will double your donation, because we believe we can achieve more together!
