Engineer
Engineering at Broshuis is not about quick fixes, but about well-considered decisions. As an Engineer, you work on custom trailers for exceptional transport, where technology, manufacturability, and collaboration come together continuously.
We don’t build standard trailers. We develop solutions for transport that is truly exceptional. From wind turbine components to heavy industrial loads: what seems complex or even impossible, we make achievable.
As an Engineer, you contribute to the development of trailers that are used worldwide in special and exceptional transport. You are involved from the very first idea through to a design that actually goes into production. You work closely with the technology, as well as with the people who build it.

What will you do?
You will be part of the engineering team that translates concepts and customer requirements into manufacturable, reliable and innovative trailers. This means you will:
- Develop and further refine designs in a 3D CAD environment
- Contribute to decisions on structures, loads and technical solutions
- Validate designs against functional and technical requirements
- Document design choices and calculations in our PLM system
- Collaborate and spar with fellow engineers
- Coordinate with production and work preparation to ensure designs can truly be built

Who are you?
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a comparable technical field
- Experience with 3D CAD systems, PLM and supporting design decisions with calculations
- Strong technical and spatial insight, with attention to manufacturability, safety and reliability
- An analytical mindset; you think ahead and are confident in making and substantiating design choices
- You enjoy discussing technical challenges with colleagues and know when to go deeper or keep things simple
- Good command of the English language; knowledge of German is a plus
