Welding Robot Operator
We’re growing rapidly and have more than enough work lined up for the coming years! At Broshuis, you’ll work on exciting projects including assignments for the Defence sector in an environment that continues to innovate.
Our newest welding robot, the highlight of our production floor, allows us to weld trailers even faster and with higher precision. In addition to this latest addition, we have four other welding robots you'll be working with. Want to be part of this growing and innovative team? Then we’re looking for you as a Welding Robot Operator!
If you become a Welding Robot Operator with us, you'll be responsible for welding (parts of) our trailers using one of our welding robots. Together with your colleagues, you’ll ensure that all trailer components are ready for the next step in the production process! Your responsibilities may include:

Checking the order and ensuring the presence and safety of all required materials;

Starting up, converting, and operating the Panasonic welding robot;

Performing measurements using various measuring tools;

Inspecting the quality of the final product (the weld).

WHO YOU ARE
-
You have solid technical insight and hold a level 2 welding diploma;
-
You have experience as a (Welding) Robot Operator (preferred);

Ideally, you have experience entering (basic) welding programs and are able to make adjustments when needed;

You can read 2D work and product drawings;
-
You are analytical and work with precision and attention to detail;

You’re willing to work in shifts. One week from 06:00–15:30 (Friday 06:00–12:15), the next week from 14:30–23:59 (Monday to Thursday — Friday off!).
In this role, you will report to the Team Leader of Steel Prep.
