Lifting- and Sliding system
It often happens that transport companies working in difficult-to-reach locations will have to take turns with great lengths on board. Often trees, street furniture and sometimes even houses are in the way. In order to be able to easily avoid these obstacles, we have designed a lifting system to work in collaboration with our trailers.
Thanks to this lifting system, the tip of the wing can be raised to a height of 10 meters. With this the tip can go over all these obstacles and fewer objects have to be dismantled. Designing this system was not easy. The wind turbine blade to be transported is a very sensitive load and the correct support at predefined positions is the guiding principle. An additional advantage is that no major detour has to be made to avoid high obstacles in the route. Thanks to this lifting system, the shortest route can therefore always be chosen, which also benefits the environment.
In order to simplify the transport of the blades that are becoming longer and longer, we offer an optional sliding system. This allows the loaded trailer to be temporarily partially retracted, making the wheelbase shorter and making tight turns easier.
