Dutch Ministry of Defense chooses Broshuis!

A choice for quality and reliability
We are proud to announce that the Dutch Ministry of Defense has chosen Broshuis. This order involves the delivery of 39 Heavy Equipment Transporters (8-axle pendular axle semi low loaders) for transporting vehicles such as the Leopard 2A8 tanks, which the Dutch Defense intends to procure.
Additionally, the order includes the supply of 40 Medium Equipment Transporters (low loaders), 18 semi low loaders, 11 flat trailers, and 38 4-axle drawbar trailers.
This order is part of a programme to replace the existing Truck-Trailer Combinations, for which we supplied the trailers in 2005. In addition to delivery, Broshuis will also be responsible for maintenance and support over a 15-year period.
Following a careful and intensive tendering process, Broshuis emerged as the best candidate, meeting all required criteria. We take great pride in being a key partner since 1992 and supplying many NATO countries, including the US and UK Armed Forces. This long-standing trust underscores our expertise and reliability, and we look forward to making this project a success.
We will start the production of the first prototype trailers as soon as possible, allowing for testing before serial production begins. For our defence orders, we have had dedicated production lines in place for years, ensuring they do not interfere with our civilian production. As approximately 30% of our trailers are built for defence purposes and 70% for the civilian market, we always maintain sufficient capacity to serve our civilian customers.
