Conventional axle systems have been around for years and everyone is familiar with them. We offer this axle system in a number of variants: Air sprung with our standard 13 ton air suspension and long stroke air bags, or with hydraulic suspension, in which we mount the hydraulic cylinders in front of the axle. This keeps them protected and also creates more ground clearance. Although hydraulic springs are a bit more expensive to purchase, they have their advantages with high loads. Both systems are proven technologies, are cost effective and robust. This axle has added value precisely in those countries where no extra cargo capacity is granted for pendle axles and/or SL2 axles.
