Lighter and even stronger
Building on the advancements made with our low loaders and flatbed trailers, we have now further developed our range of hydraulically steered semi low loaders, in addition to the self-tracking versions. The aim? To engineer a new generation of semi low loaders that are not only lighter, but stronger than ever before. Thanks to the latest in computer-aided design and simulation, we know precisely where weight can be reduced, and where reinforcements are required to create the ideal trailer.
Hydraulically steered semi
We are proud to announce that we’ve achieved an impressive weight reduction of up to 15%, while key structural components have been further reinforced. As standard, we continue to fit robust 12-tonne steered axles, even though legislation often allows for just 8 or 10 tonnes. This remains a genuine Broshuis semi low loader, built to last with the robust construction and long service life you’ve come to expect from us.
Self-tracking semi
Weight savings of up to 15% have also been achieved on our self-tracking semi low loaders, providing you with a significant advantage through increased load capacity. Additionally, we have optimised the axle spacing to legally allow a 9-tonne axle load within the EU. This increases the load capacity of a 3-axle self-tracking semi by an extra 3 tonnes, enabling you to invest in a semi low loader with exceptionally high net load capacity.
