Software for efficient transport
At Broshuis, we understand how important it is to plan heavy transport efficiently and safely. That’s why we are proud to collaborate with HeavyGoods, a software solution for the heavy transport sector. Thanks to this partnership, we can offer our customers an advanced service that allows them to make the most of their transport combinations.
“Planning special transport is a specialised task,” says Geert Norde, Aftersales Manager at Broshuis. “The HeavyGoods tool simplifies this process, optimizes transport operations, and enhances safety. It aligns perfectly with our core values: safety, quality, and innovation.”
Our engineers prepare your Broshuis combination(s) in the software, allowing you to benefit from:
- Fewer errors in transport planning.
- Faster permit applications.
- Maximum safety during transport operations.
What HeavyGoods can offer
With HeavyGoods, you gain access to a complete set of smart tools, including:
- Swept Path simulations: Find the safest and most efficient route for your transport and generate clear reports, including visuals and dimensions of your Broshuis combinations.
- Axle load calculations: Optimize the position of your cargo and ensure compliance with legal regulations. Useful for police inspections and transport permits.
- Load securing: Determine exactly how many securements are needed to transport loads safely, preventing shifts or accidents.
How to use HeavyGoods
A license is required to use HeavyGoods, which can be easily requested via the HeavyGoods website. Once your registration is complete, you can immediately submit a request to us to add your combination to the software.
For modular trailers, the fee is € 500 for a complete trailer, while for other trailers, the fee is € 350. Our engineers will ensure that your trailer is correctly integrated into the software, allowing you to make the most of the features HeavyGoods has to offer.
For correct processing of your request, it is important to clearly specify the desired configurations. For modular trailers, each configuration must be specified separately. For example, if you have a 2+6-axle semi low loader, you can use it as both an 8-axle and a 6-axle, with both configurations needing to be indicated separately. Via below form you can request this service for your trailer. If you have any questions or would like to get started right away, please contact us.
