Welding Robot Programmer

At Broshuis, you’ll work on innovative solutions within a high-tech production environment. As a Welding Robot Programmer, you are responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing our welding robots. You’ll design welding jigs, program new products offline, and collaborate closely with colleagues from production and engineering. In doing so, you’ll directly contribute to the further automation and quality of our production process.
What will you do?
- Design welding jigs and assembly tools using Creo Parametric
- Consult with production supervisors to improve existing jigs and tools
- Collect incoming materials for the welding jig and hand them over to the welder
- Offline programming of new products for the welding robots
- Set up and test new products on the welding robots
- Troubleshoot welding robot issues during production
- Develop presentations or business cases for new tools and improvement projects

Who are you?
- MBO+ or HBO level of education, preferably in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
- Experience with (offline) programming of welding robots (e.g. Panasonic, Yaskawa, or Valk Welding) is a plus
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols
- Accurate, analytical, and quality-focused
- Proactive, independent, and a team player who enjoys working with colleagues from production and engineering
