Commissioned by
Belgium Ministry of Defense
Order
The delivery of 12 unites of Protected Evacuation Vehicles (PEV)
Trailer types
12 units 3-axle low loaders on PL2 pendular axles.
The trailer is equipped with Broshuis PL2 pendular axle technology, which has a maximum stroke, and a hydraulic, removable STANAG gooseneck that allows for more freedom of movement between the trailer and the armoured truck.
Tender process
We were chosen by DAF/Tatra as a subcontractor, to supply the trailers. First, a prototype was built and tested, followed by delivery. The tests were extreme, including a cold test (-30 degrees) and an underwater (fording) test, both of which we passed with flying colors.
