Tender process
In 2018, the US military recognized the critical need for a tank transporter (known as a HET: Heavy Equipment Trailer) that complied with European laws and regulations. They sought a European manufacturer with a strong track record and an experienced US partner. With our extensive experience as a defense trailer specialist since 1994, we were recommended by several NATO partners. The US Army initiated a tender process through which two manufacturers were selected to supply test trailers. We participated in collaboration with Oshkosh Defense. The trailers underwent an intensive 8-month test procedure at the US Army's test site, where they were rigorously evaluated for quality, handling, specifications, weight, ease of operation and stability. After careful evaluation, we emerged as the chosen supplier, securing the first order for 170 IHET (Improved HET) trailers for deployment in Europe.
